Our Mission

Out In Eureka's mission is to build an inclusive community for LGBTQ+ people. Through our Diversity Weekend celebrations in Eureka Springs, AR, we provide entertaining and educational events that celebrate diversity, promote acceptance, and create a sense of belonging. We are committed to advancing equality and human rights for all LGBTQ+ individuals.

Who We Are

Out in Eureka sponsors two Diversity Weekends each year in Eureka Springs, Arkansas with the help of local volunteers, organizations, and businesses. Eureka Springs is the only city in the United States to have this many “Pride” events. Our Diversity Weekends are held the first weekends of April and November.

Out In Eureka uses the name “Diversity Weekend” in place of “Pride Weekend.” Why? We do not want to exclude any person of the LGBTQ+ or those of other religions, cultures, races, or creeds who celebrate their Diversity, and the Diversity of others.

Out In Eureka has made many of its events family friendly, including Diversity in the Basin Park, bingo, brunches, and the headliner shows at The Aud. Local businesses act as event sponsors to help support bringing in internationally known entertainment or offer Diversity Weekend shopping and dining discounts. Some offer lodging discounts and many provide prizes for our Diversity Weekend giveaway packages for other events.
